Harari Development Association (HDA) is non governmental and non political
organization. The main purpose for the establishment of this Association
is to support and encourage the development endeavors of Harari nationals
while preserving the cultural, and historical heritages of our forefathers.
In order to accomplish this objective however, the basic institutions
such as Koranic schools , mosques, and historic sites need to be safeguarded
and transferred to the new generation . But these institutions do not have
their own revenue for sustainability. Thus, the Harari Development
Association, has developed a revenue generating project, which envisages
shops and office building complex to be built in Addis Ababa city.
The income obtained from the rental charge of the building will be
directed to support the institutions and further development..
The Association, therefore, calls upon all Harari organizations and
the individual nationals for support in its endeavors in alleviating the
current problems that its citizens are forced to live with. The money that
you donate once in your life time will safeguard our cultural and historical
heritage.Enclosed you will find HDAs establishment briefing and membership
form. The form is to be sent backs to our office after being duly
filled in by the Harari nationals.
